Our trio, 12 Strings, consists of 3 members: Benz (who plays the cello), Pratima and Krystel (who both play violins). Individually, we have each played our instruments for over 15 years and began playing together two years ago. It all started when Benz and Pratima were asked to play at a wedding. During rehearsals, we found that there wasn’t enough “depth” in our sound so we asked Krystel to join, thus 12 Strings was born. What Sets Us Apart. We offer musical selections from a wide variety of music, ranging from classical, traditional pieces to pop and old school songs. A Blast from the past. 2015! 2015 was definitely a BLAST! We played at new venues, met new couples, gushed over love stories, and swooned over the bride and groom on their wedding day. Here are some highlights. Celia and Jeff's Wedding at Hart House! Look at those goodies! Rupali and Alex at Centennial Rose Garden on top of Burnaby Mountain Park. Our first Jewish wedding!
