Saturday, October 9, 2010. I got lucky the day I decided to take a picture of him coming out of school, because he happened to be line leader that day. As excited as he is for school, he seems just as excited to see me! It melts my heart a little! He always has something "cool" or "great" to show me , but this is the only time he has asked me for tape to hang a project on the wall. Of course, it is a train! When I asked him to get his train picture, he thought he needed the picture of his train set!

Monday, December 14, 2009. We have been doing lots of preparing for Christmas. Besides our Advent wreath and countdown, we have been busy with the parade. Waiting for the parade to start. Still waiting.but we're not cold! I was a little unsure at first.". I wasn't scared at all! This jolly old man gave me a whole stocking filled with candy! We can't wait for Christmas. This year Mom and Dad let us help put up the Christmas tree, instead of waiting until we were in bed to do it. Fun at the Farm.

Saturday, September 11, 2010. A Little (and Big) Boy's Heaven on Earth. A week ago we were invited to spend the day at one of my friends In-laws. She described it to me, saying that they live on Shoal Creek and that he collects fire engines and airplanes. I knew Adam had been out of town most of the week and would be exhausted, but I convinced him that it would be worth it to go. It was! And we all had a great time! Thank you, Burnett Family! The water was cold but it didn't stop them from playing in it.

Friday, June 3, 2011. Also in October the Burtons came down for a visit. The kids always have a great time and of course the Mom's get to catch up on all the gab. With 5 boys around there are lots of trains. The babies even got to hang out. Katie had some great activities for the kids including the Hokey Pokey for the left/right challenged. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Dominic's First Day of Preschool. Today was Dominic's first day of preschool at St. Patrick's Catholic School in Parsons. He was so excited and a little nervous. His first day of school outfit changed though since it was so cool out. Luckily he had some new pants to wear. I think he had a good time.
