How my savings landed me my dream job. February 26, 2014 · 8:19 am. Financial Lessons from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. When Brooklyn Nine-Nine won not one, but two Golden Globes this year. Many people were surprised. How did this Andy Samberg-led comedy, still in its inaugural season, win over the likes of Modern Family and Parks and Recreation? The answer is puppies. And excellent financial advice. 1 Stop burying your head in the sand. 2 Stop spending your money on STUFF. No more stuff you don’t need. Gina̵...

You know how sometimes you set a goal for yourself, tell everyone about it, and then fail miserably and have to tell everyone how you were on the front seat of the fail bus all the way to Failtown? Yeah That’s why I didn’t post about my January goal. I mentioned in December that I was going to try and control my Christmas spending and actually hoard money throughout the Christmas season! I feel like the wo...

I haven’t woken up in the middle of the night freaking out about my loans in many months, and for me that is HUGE. This w...

2013 Shopping Ban and Goals. Friday, April 29, 2011. Projected Bi-Weekly Budget: Apr 28 - May 11. Some bad news . I completely forgot that I don't get paid for stat holidays! Sharing my thoughts on life and money. Guest and Sponsored Posts. Thursday, July 23, 2015. There is a product out there that is going to make me a better person. A nicer person, a happier person, a more productive person, and - why not? A sexier person. This is not me falling for advertisements or marketing gimmicks. I know for a fact that this product exists, because pretty much everyone I know has it, and I'm betting that it will upgrade my life in a big way. I know. I know! While I was still asleep?

Sunday - pasta with sausage and peppers. Tuesday - brats and veggie dogs (time to start grilling out! My insura...
