Letters to the Editor. Did we get duped? Hoka Hey riders hit town early Monday morning. I doubt anyone was as surprised to see them that early as I was. The next few weeks will undoubtedly be filled with more than just Hoka Hey celebrations. Inconsistent information, reportedly incorrect routes and incomplete maps left many Hoka Hey riders feeling a bit less than satisfied with the more-than-7,000-mile challenge. Don't Get Stomped By a Moose! A teacher, her daughter, and a chocolate lab move to Alaska. Pictures of My Beautiful New Classroom. Settling In (here 3 weeks now). So funny that you have to call to set up phone service. Makes no sense! We finally have a phone and a bank acct. Now I need a new car (yep, a new car. My landlord said, get 4 wd or move out. ), some groceries, A PAYCHECK (Lord I need a paycheck), and an AK drivers license. Oh, have to switch insurance too! So many things to do, but we made it!
