Patrice and I work together and she's been great about listening to my daily raves and rants of pregnancy. We discuss if my belly button has popped or not and I've always had the same answer - it's not even close to popping. Monday, March 05, 2007. 37 wks today. it's hard to believe that we're now full term and that we have about 3 weeks to go. 85 lbs above target at last check. I'm looking forward to normal non-pregnancy clothes, just in time for spring/summer too. Same as last week: Braxton Hicks Contractions, aches in my hips, groin pain, bloody nose, dry skin, my fingers have started to swell up a bit. Monday, March 12, 2007. Baby Plan and New Photo. So I had my weekly appointment last Thursday and a game plan has been delivered - no pun intended! Everything is fine but my blood pressure was slightly higher than it had been all pregnancy so because of that they want to monitor me and the baby, yup that means more Non-Stress Tests (NST)! The first NST was on Friday afternoon (which I then had to make sure I got back to work in time for our Baby Shower), then another NST on Tuesday for comparison sake.

Tuesday, March 13, 2007. I had my NST this afternoon and all is well. Fetal movement is excellent, heartbeat is strong, and the test shows that he's doing exactly what he should be doing and that he's getting enough oxygen and nutrients. Since Thursday - we've had the normal appt, an ultrasound and 2 NSTs and everything is just fine. Yes, he's still little but he's perfectly healthy. My blood pressure wasn't so high that it's something to worry about but just something to keep an eye on.
