Newberry--Living Art: Some more paintings
http://michaelnewberry.blogspot.com/2008/11/some-more-paintings.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. Last week I taught a spontaneous pick up workshop, had a super time, and painted this demo- De De and Cordelia painted awesome works, that had there own feel to them- when they send them on I will post them. This was with a scarlet underpainting- fun, challenging- especially when one thinks of the darks as bright red. Love painting this from Nancy's porch, a big rubber tree. November 24, 2008 at 7:40 AM. Oh, I really just love the tree with all of the blues! Out on the Deck.

http://michaelnewberry.blogspot.com/2008/11/gardina.html
Friday, November 14, 2008. I don't paint flowers often, but this little gardenia was placed beautifully in my room- I am the guest of friends for a few weeks. It was a welcoming touch- and painting it is likewise. Great to see you posting again - I thought you mights have given up! I know you've been very busy. I really like the second painting down in the last post - the light on the wall - love the abstract quality. November 14, 2008 at 9:47 PM. August 17, 2014 at 3:12 PM. Out on the Deck.

Michelle's Watercolors: Stamping
http://mhwatercolornotes.blogspot.com/2015/05/stamping.html
Wednesday, May 06, 2015. Not a watercolor, but I wanted to post what I've been doing the last several days. I started one of the free Strathmore workshops, this one on stamping, and specifically making your own stamps. These are all made of Fun Foam. Some of them didn't stamp cleanly, which oddly enough makes the design look more interesting. Thursday, May 28, 2015 6:00:00 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
