During this time she also began facilitating drama/movement and singing sessions with young people in a wide variety of settings, including some for those with special needs. In 1994 Amanda undertook a PGCE in Early Years Education to enhance her work with young people and for several years was based in schools as an early years teacher (Nursery/Reception and Year1) and later as a Music Coordinator in a special school and peripatetic singing teacher for the Brent Music Service.
