A day with the Vensko Family. Friday, February 25, 2011. The Great Aloha Run 8.1miles. I set a personal record coming in at 57:58. That is a 7:07 minute mile average. I was a sickening 20 seconds away from 3rd place in my div. A day with the Vensko Family. Monday, August 23, 2010. Ironman 70.3 Boulder. The first day that we were there we headed up to Estes Park. It is a beautiful small town with lots of fun shops and a TON of candy/sweet stores! Jake showing his uncle some affection. The picture above is of Jake and I showing off our new kicks country style! A day with the Vensko Family. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Christmas week and more. Cherie and John (Chris' mom and brother) joined us for the holiday this year and we all had a great visit. We only had a few days but of course we made it to the beach and John loved playing with Jake. Jake was a bit hesitant with the rough waves until Uncle John made running into and out of the shore break a fun game. Jake giggled his bum off! Here are a few pics from our day at the beach. A day with the Vensko Family. Friday, July 16, 2010. Last weekend we celebrated Jake's big day with a small party at the house. Between the whirlwind of travels my grand idea of having a cowboy/western themed BBQ bash turned into pizza and cupcakes in the backyard. Luckily Jake's best buds were able to come on short notice and we really enjoyed the laid back celebration. There was fishing in the pond, water balloons, and lots of yummy food to be enjoyed by all. A day with the Vensko Family. Monday, May 17, 2010. This past weekend was the Honolulu Triathlon. It is a big event which mandates briefings and bike drop-off the day before the race. We made a day out of it and decided to hang out at the beach and got a chance to try out my new paddle board. Jake absolutely LOVED it! When Chris unloaded it onto the grass by the car he quickly jumped on grabbed the paddle and said "Go! Tight tri gear isn't always the most flattering, but is stays in place when you race!

A day with the Vensko Family. Sunday, April 25, 2010. Yesterday a few girlfriends and I got up early and headed out to the East side of the island for a biathlon.
