Friday, August 29, 2014. DANA COMES TO UTAH! The long-awaited day arrived when Dana flew in to Utah for a week! She used the excuse to come to BYU EDUCATION WEEK to come visit us. Friday, September 26, 2014. Hiking the Y and FHE. Finally got up to the Y on the mountain since our return home. Forgot how steep it was, and with Scotts asthma, it was not really fun for him. But it felt good to get up to the top and it was a spectacular view! We have been trying to find some ways to fit into the ward just a bit since we are so busy at the MTC. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. April has been a great month! We started it off with our MISSION REUNION held over at our Stake Center. We had about 170 people show up! And we had the best PHOTOG ever! Wednesday, July 30, 2014. As is tradition - if you can call a second time a tradition - Grandma Self helped with Evan's first bath at home. Crazy to think that it wasn't really long ago that Brooklyn was the one screaming. About getting wet and clean. First week or two. Behind. Between adjusting to double the trouble and some family trips, we're just now starting to catch our breath after a whirlwind couple of months! The good news is that Brooklyn hasn't asked to take Evan back to the hospital. yet.

Saturday, December 20, 2014. Thanksgiving, et cetera. Towards the end of November, all the leaves finally changed colors and started to fall. Usually lots of leaves means crisp fall air and jumping in piles, but up here they kinda just get too wet for that. Doesn't mean we can't go out for walks though. The baby had been measuring a little on the big side during a number of her checkups, and we have heard that baby #2 is more likely to be early than late, so we were kind of planning on baby boy arriving sooner than later. Sunday, August 31, 2014. But all things considered it was a pretty good trip down to Utah. Evan finally got to meet Grandma Taylor! And Austin's Aunt Michelle! And lots of other family members on Austin's side of the family. Evan loved hanging out with Grandpa Taylor. He just settled right in! Laura's family came up from California and we met them for dinner the night we arrived. Grandma Self was very excited to see Evan again. David finally got his nephew he's been asking for! Saturday, March 29, 2014. Brooklyn was a great helper making and frosting valentine cookies. The tears came when we took "her" cookie to put on the plate to take a picture.
