Skipping Stones: Haliburton
http://cole-space.blogspot.com/2010/10/haliburton.html
The calm before the storm. Friday, October 1, 2010. If anyone reads this anymore, here lies the update on my life at present. Truly, I am writing more for myself than others at the moment. The idea of connection is an odd concept when it involves sitting in front of a magic box and clicking keys while staring into its unresponsive face. . . though it does respond at times and so we keep at it, don't we? In spite of the rain (to spite the rain? Do I sound unnaturally optimistic? It's strange, but real.

Skipping Stones: 'tis the season
http://cole-space.blogspot.com/2008/12/tis-season.html
The calm before the storm. Friday, December 12, 2008. For the FLU and I have SO got it. The past 3 days have been pretty miserable, but on the bright side, I've been forced to slow down and actually just do NOTHING. I can't remember the last time I did that. Plague #1: Food poisoning at age 6. My whole family remembers that one vividly. That was one fun night. Oh, Res-hall-living, how we love thee. So that's it. I just wanted to drop a note on here to let you know I'm still around. I will have to...Subsc...

Skipping Stones: Me and Bruce
http://cole-space.blogspot.com/2009/05/me-and-bruce.html
The calm before the storm. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Here's me at the Bruce Peninsula. A long weekend of hiking through Ontario's rocky escarpment and poking around sleepy harbour towns does wonders for reviving the soul. Must be all that wind blowing air through the head, sweeping the brain cells clean, dusting the senses. A couple weeks, a few months? I'll go on an adventure with you! Next year, I'll be making money and will be able to afford a fun trip. May 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM.

Skipping Stones: September 2009
http://cole-space.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The calm before the storm. Sunday, September 20, 2009. Here's an ode to my solo six-day adventure in the Big Apple. It was nothing but glorious. 1 thing I learned in New York City. Is that fellow tourists take really bad photos. This is the extent of my non-blurry, non-silhouettey Nicole-in-the-Big-Apple photo collection. For the rest of the photos, my face is behind the camera lens. View of Chelsea building from the High Line]. Ode to the ex-student status:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Skipping Stones: February 2010
http://cole-space.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The calm before the storm. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Has it really been 5 months since I last scribbled some thoughts across this thing? I've been busy. Since the world seems to wait for no one, I hopped in its wagon and let the wheel of time do its business. It just keeps on turning. . . Which is why baking bread is important. You can't smell the mingling of cinnamon, fruit and nuts across the e-waves, but if you stop in for a visit, you can have a slice or three. Mmm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Skipping Stones: September 2008

The calm before the storm. Friday, September 26, 2008. This will be short, because this week will be short. Or maybe long. Long, then very short. I made it to the weekend! In the meantime, some other fun things have been going on. I walked into church last week as per usual and ran into . . . GINELLE! It threw me SO far out of my headspace. I wasn't expecting to see her at all. It was SO good to see you! Monday-Friday was pretty blah (so we won't bother dwelling on it). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Skipping Stones: October 2008
http://cole-space.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
The calm before the storm. Saturday, October 11, 2008. Happy thanksgiving to you, whether you're Canadian or not. I LOVE this weekend. The colours are always their best on this weekend and thanks to the wet wet WET summer we have had, the trees will NOT disappoint. The weather is absolutely perfect too, warm-ish with sunshine the entire long weekend. If I was thankful for nothing else, this would make up for everything. Not to mention that I love my brand new sister in-law! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The calm before the storm. Saturday, May 31, 2008. Adventures Among the Thoughtless Dead. Initial scribbles did NOT intend title above to sound like a boat at the bottom of Lake Superior. . . . Apologies for the lack of updates, but it seems that I'm not the only one. It appears that we are blogging less as our lives creep further from that "other life" and ever closer to present reality (are we ever completely in the present? That made/makes us who we are. . . BUT here I get to learn all abo...Are there...
