Drawing of Halifax 2009. watercolour, ink, marker, pastel. Above: Yashica Camera 2008 series of five acrylic paintings.
The above image is a bat sculpted out of wax and some branches cast in jewellers bronze. To the right is a wax branch getting ready for casting. This is a necklace made using the process of cuttle-fish bone casting. Based on a dead raven I found on Gabriola Island BC, it is a carving of a birds head and claws. One off. These nature capsules are intended to have a reminiscence of the forest with an etching on the interior that is magnified by the acrylic rod.
