Monday, February 22, 2010. Why the hours just melt away in a moms day. 6:45 am - Awaken to light from bathroom window in my eyes because the door was not shut. Hear hubby readying to leave the house. Roll over to try and catch a few more zzzz's before the babe is up. 7:00 am - Finally fall back asleep. 7:05 am - Phone buzzes with a text from someone asking about my Haiti trip. Think to self: Remember to answer that later. Continue trying to sleep knowing that I'm probably going to be late this morning.

I know we are all sick and tired of hearing about the election and the ‘issues’ surrounding it, but I just felt compelled to send this to everyone in a sort-of last-ditch effort to get it across to everyone what I believe God is trying to say to all of us. The first part of the email is just an idea for everyone to consider (I think it’s an awesome idea! What does sex have to do with getting a new roof? I mean, come on!

October 18, 2009 at 4:21 am ( Family Updates. Hello, hello…we meet again. I admit, I have been very bad at blogging recently. I actually completely enjoy it, but it seems there is always something else I should be doing. Just wanted to update everyone on the Vaughn family. My mother purchased a web-cam….and it only took her 3 weeks to figure out how to work it! Well, at least during dinner time. Any moms out there, if you have any advice or good meal ideas for the wee ones, please shoot it my way....
