Tuesday, January 18, 2011. First Day of Ballet. So Lilly has started Ballet with Miss Penny. She has been to two classes and absolutely loves it! One thing I was not prepared for was how much I would love watching her in her class. It brings back so many memories of dancing when I was a little girl. Sunday, November 15, 2009. Above is the pumpkin patch we went to in front of Rusty's work. Lilly loved getting to pick out a pumpkin, until she tripped and hit her lip on a pumpkin stem! Life At Grammy and Pops. Thursday, July 01, 2010. Amy, Becky, and me, ready to start the Riverless Walk Run 2010 we are the Pavement Pounders, ready for year 2 of the Pound Plunge. Amy and I taking off on our walk. Here come the 5 milers. Becky coming home Sydney Cole comes and runs her in. Mamaw enjoys the race. Megan in Pink Clint in green doing the kids 1 mile. Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Guadalupe River State Park. Last week, Josh and I took off 3 days and headed down to the Guadalupe River. We like to avoid the weekend crowds, and this turned out to be a great trip! We stayed at Guadalupe River State Park at the perfect little campsite- #45. We tried out a new portable air conditioner for our tent and even used air mattresses for the first time. I think we're getting old! Tuesday, October 21, 2014. We headed to Lost Maples State Natural Area for fall break this year. We spent the first night in the main campground and then did a little backpacking to reach our site for the next night. We were a little early for the colorful leaves, but it was still really nice and the weather was perfect. Lost Maples State Natural Area. Can you spot those 2 tiny water specks in the picture?
