Pachamammy: Hot and cold
http://pachamammy.blogspot.com/2012/08/hot-and-cold.html
Monday, August 6, 2012. Does it sound a bit crazy to you? Some other ideas for creating natural endorphins if you're too wussy for this :). When we had the "big snow" a couple of years ago, we did this using the hot bath and the snow in our back garden. Giddiest moment I can remember in recent times. My husband started a snowball fight. He lost after I threatened his snowballs with snowballs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Useful and fun links. Dr Jack Newman Breastfeeding Clinic.

The potterings and projects of one busy mum and family, on our journey through life for sustainable happiness, wherever that takes us. About our Journey 2011. Saturday, 25 January 2014. One blanket made, sewn up and posted to Canada- it got there safely, just a week later than Royal Mail said.My sister reckons Royal Mail just don't understand Canada Post. I had lots of help getting the blanket to lie straight for photographing- can you tell? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Busy Days: A quick sew
http://abusymum.blogspot.com/2014/01/a-quick-sew.html
The potterings and projects of one busy mum and family, on our journey through life for sustainable happiness, wherever that takes us. About our Journey 2011. Thursday, 2 January 2014. Princess kept Rainbow busy for a spell this afternoon, so I dusted off my machine and took in the side seams and darts on some of my new work uniforms. The darts are in the wrong place, but my expertise ( and time) didnt allow for taking out the originals and putting them in the right place to fit me. My last blog post here.

Rarely without an opinion. Or a cake. Health Visiting – Keeping Everyone Happy? If you have read my recent posts about quality of health visiting advice. And encouraging parents to provide feedback. Now I’m paraphrasing there, but the meaning was clear: Health Visitors want us to be happy. They want us to enjoy parenthood, to enjoy our children, to have a pleasant experience as a family. Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? I don’t believe it is because they are behind in their breastfeeding training, I know t...

Pachamammy: The choice is yours....
http://pachamammy.blogspot.com/2011/07/choice-is-yours.html
Wednesday, July 20, 2011. The choice is yours. Anyway, she told me she thought it was great that I was still feeding and said she lasted 4 days. Why did she give up? I read somewhere that during the child-rearing years, we align ourselves with others who share our parenting philosophies. I can see this happening in my own life, but does it have to mean binning the friends I have already or blackballing new ones that I have lots in common with apart from our parenting styles? Pachamammy: February 2012
http://pachamammy.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. Protest at Facebook HQ. A group of mums and babes, including myself and C, protested today at Facebook HQ in Dublin against the deletion of photos of nursing mothers and, in some cases, suspension of their Facebook accounts. Facebook terms of service state that photos of nursing are allowed, yet these pictures of breastfeeding were flagged as breaching Facebook's statement of "rights and responsibilities" as they contain "nudity, pornography or graphically sexual content". Pachamammy: April 2011
http://pachamammy.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. Stuff no one told you # 451 - dealing with a blocked nipple pore. This is something we'd all prefer never to have to know about, but if you are planning on breastfeeding then please read on. A blocked nipple pore is easy to deal with if you know how but can cause major discomfort in the breast and lead on to more serious conditions such as mastitis if you don't recognise it when it starts and treat it appropriately. Pachamammy: Double trouble
http://pachamammy.blogspot.com/2012/08/double-trouble.html
Wednesday, August 1, 2012. So I knew having two kids was going to be harder than having one. But now that I'm a couple of months into it, I can't quite remember what I thought that meant. I suppose I thought it would be hard being busy, and finding time for yourself, and that I'd possibly be exhausted from having to fall in with a newborn's sleep pattern. August 2, 2012 at 8:04 AM. August 2, 2012 at 10:33 AM. Oh dear, sounds like you had a rough day! I always found it was when i was feeding that toddler ...
