A Castle in Scotland: August 2006
http://to-the-highlands.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
A Castle in Scotland. Saturday, August 26, 2006. We have a Ring! Yes, it certainly feels official now: we have a ring! D We bought it today in Lewistown, MT (for those of you who don't know, that's Dan's hometown). The stone is a Yogo Saphire, an amazingly beautiful and now very rare stone found here in Lewistown - they have stopped mining them, and they could only be mined originally in two places in the world! Saturday, August 19, 2006. Oh the Agony and Excitement. 23 Days and counting! We have a Ring!

Dangella: July 2012

Sunday, July 15, 2012. Cedar Tree Removal (Davey Tree Services). Hey everyone, it's Dan here. This past week, we had the good folks at Davey Tree Service. Come over and remove a tree for us. They trimmed a bunch of trees, but I thought the removal of the biggest was really cool and documented that the best. :). So here's a few pictures and a video of the tree, as seen from our roof, prior to the tree's removal on Friday. View from the Roof, showing how much the tree extends above the roof. Ang and I are ...

Dangella: February 2014
http://dangella.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Hello friends and family! I know it's been a month since we returned from Barbados, and I'm slow.and I owe some blog posts about the kitchen remodel, also. BUT, I have one more post I wanted to share from Barbados before getting back to the remodel. And this one is really simple:. Please revel with me, as I stroll down memory lane to a time when it was warm, and I was toasty. Round one New Year's Eve - rum punch with a Magners. That was round three.or was it four?

Dangella: March 2012
http://dangella.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 11, 2012. Happy Sunday to our blog readers! Well, sorry it's been a bit of a dry spell between posts. We actually made some fun progress last weekend, but I just didn't have the energy and/or time this week to post. So I'll write about it today instead. The topic for today is the bench! The original "plan" for the bench. All great remodel plans start on a napkin or sticky note. :). Dan cutting and measuring. Me putting a few pieces together. Pieces starting to stack up ready for install.

A Castle in Scotland: Staying in Amsterdam wasn’t quite in our plans…
http://to-the-highlands.blogspot.com/2006/12/staying-in-amsterdam-wasnt-quite-in_19.html
A Castle in Scotland. Tuesday, December 19, 2006. Staying in Amsterdam wasn’t quite in our plans…. I wrote this entry while sitting in Amsterdam Saturday night. I would have posted it sooner, but we didn't have internet at home until last night:. I am writing this entry in a hotel room in. I will post this later when I have access to the internet.). But little did I know that there was a major wind storm raging in. That would change our plans a bit! Haha, yeah, sure. So we could get to. At 6:15 am, we ha...

Dangella: January 2014
http://dangella.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 20, 2014. The colors of Barbados. Sorry it's been a little bit since my last post again. It's been a busy couple weeks getting back into the swing of things at work and in life. It's a real bummer having to get back to real life after a nice, long, restful vacation. :( But we have to carry on, right? And I'm still trying to get a couple last posts out about our Barbados trip. I've shared all the events and site-seeing that we did, but. Even this simple chain rail to delineate the parking ...

Dangella: Harrison's Cave
http://dangella.blogspot.com/2014/01/harrisons-cave.html
Saturday, January 04, 2014. We are enjoying a nice, lazy day today, so I'm taking a minute to do another blog post. Dan and Dad are both laying on the couches reading, so it's a good time to just take a minute to do a post and enjoy the free-time to get some of this down. :). Check-out how curly my hair got in the humidity! And it's hard to see in the pic, but there was a lot of frizz going on, too. Crazy warm and wet! There were tons of stalactites and stalagmites. They covered the ceilings, the flo...

A Castle in Scotland: November 2006
http://to-the-highlands.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
A Castle in Scotland. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. And a glorious Tuesday it is. :) Today, during our Space Science and Remote Sensing lecture, we had a couple of guest professors who had some very wonderful quotes I really wanted to share with you. Here they are:. Yellowstone Park is full of geysers(pronounced geezers). Compared to the U.S.' "60 kilogram titanium wonderballs.". The US. has a lot of practice with things like bunker busters. Posted by Daniel Hould. Sunday, November 26, 2006. One of the t...
