Stevens: July 2010

Saturday, July 31, 2010. Well, that seemed to be the fix. Today they took out her chest tube! The chest tube was coming out on its own so they decided to pull it out. She has been so happy with it out and eating everything she needs to from the bottle. So, we might not need to take her home on a feeding tube! Thursday, July 22, 2010. Working on coming home! So they say once they pull the chest tube out they will wait 1-2 days and make sure no other fluid has accumulated and if not we could be going home!

Sunday, March 29, 2009. The doctor came in and said he was doing very well for how little he was. And for him to cry like he did was a good sign. He said a lot of babies that are that small usually have to have CPR. And clint was trying to breath on his own. He had also said that they would have to life flight him to another hospital because he was so small and would require a lot of attention. I got released from the hospital a few hours later and was able to go hold my baby for the first time. I was th...

The thing he loves to do the most. Cuddling before bedtime. Taylor loves to cuddle before she goes to bed. I love those cheeks! I could kiss them all day.

Stevens: The arrival of our little Angle
http://taramstevens.blogspot.com/2010/07/arrival-of-our-little-angle.html
Friday, July 16, 2010. The arrival of our little Angle. In an effort to help where we can these posts will be a combined effort of all of Tara's sisters. Tara even got to hold her and love her for a few moments before they took her away to do assessments on this little one. Natalie was born with Turner's Syndrome, something that they knew before delivering her. They didn't know how things would go, they were given the worst case scenarios before going in and came out with the best! We love her so much!

Monday, July 19, 2010. A week later I was finally able to hold my baby. I was so excited, I didn't think to let Mason hold her. We only had an hour before we had to leave. But Mason said he was enjoying watching me hold her than making me give her up. This is a couple of days after her first surgery. She had two chest tubes and some many other lines coming out of her they wouldn't let me hold her. It was so hard not to hold my baby after all she had been through. She is so precious and adorable!

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Guess who is 10 months old today. Can you believe it? I can't. Jack has been more of a joy for us than we can imagine. Since he is 10 months old, I will give you 10 facts about him. 1) He likes to play chase in the house, and will stop and turn around if you don't race to catch him. 2) He is crawling EVERYWHERE! Even on the changing table when we're trying to change him. 3) He loves his bath time. He thinks it's funny to throw is bath toys outside the tub. Love this little man!
