Most of these close between 4 and 5pm… So what to do now? I forgot I guess? And the view on the mountains was pretty cool. Also, let me remind you that 5 to 6pm is prime-time bird watching. And where better to bird-watch in a city than along a river? Ducks (the usual but not only), a bird of prey (kite maybe? And I even saw a couple of bats!

I could have called this post “too many temples in Kamakura” but you’d say I was looking for it… Anyway, I started off in a rather random direction (“ooo the sea! Of these “hiking courses”… But I’ve got views of Kamakura from all the sides! And despite the advertisement, no view of Mt. Fuji (too much cloud cover on the horizon).
