For the most of 2013, I spent most of my time working on type 1 diabetes. It is from an idea that I came across in 2005. Morecki and Fidelus Scientific Award. The International Conference of the Polish Society of Biomechanics “BIOMECHANICS 2012” was held on 16-19 September 2012 in Bialystok. The conference was celebrated as the 30th anniversary meeting of the Polish biomechanics. The organisers of the conference were the Polish Society of Biomechanics and the Chair of Materials and Biomedical Engineering of the Białystok University of Technology. A Scientific Workshop was organised during the first day of the conference.
