Some of the day-to-day photography that I enjoy. Sunday, 14 September 2014. Strolling around London's East End with Tom. It's been a while since I've blogged, partly due to work reasons, then an extended holiday and finally some health issues. Nikon Df, 50mm, f/3.5, 1/250s, ISO100. Absorbing news the traditional way. m00taineer: Photokina 2014
http://m00taineer.blogspot.com/p/photokina-2014.html
Some of the day-to-day photography that I enjoy. For the seasoned photographers and photo-technophiles amongst you, Photokina. Needs no introduction and it's a biennial, must-do pilgrimage with the added lure of Brätwurst. For those new to photography or non-techies, it's a global trade fair for the photographic industry attracting thousands of exhibitors and many hundreds of thousand visitors, all keen to market or get their hands on (or at least a look at) the latest advancements in imaging technology.

m00taineer: February 2014
http://m00taineer.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Some of the day-to-day photography that I enjoy. Sunday, 16 February 2014. Having a blast, shooting. Around about the time I started taking a real interest in photography (at around age 15), our family took up the hobby of shooting. Close to every weekend (or at least every other weekend), we would go to a gun club to shoot handguns or shotguns. Shotguns weren't enough to retain my interest as my focus turned towards work, amongst other things. Since then "Shooting" referred to photography, until today.

m00taineer: July 2014
http://m00taineer.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Some of the day-to-day photography that I enjoy. Monday, 28 July 2014. A bit of food and the last chance saloon. I was out in town today, doing some shopping taking a few photos when I could and resting in between to get some food and rest. We happened across a nice Greek restaurant/bar called Ergon. Where I chose to have a (fantastic) omelette and fries, as below. Nikon Df, 50mm, f/2, 1/125s, ISO100. A few shops later we needed another break. It looked like this guy needed a break too. The Df definitely...

Some of the day-to-day photography that I enjoy. Wednesday, 26 March 2014. These lights never used to be coloured.until recently. During the day they remain a little bland but at night they come alive and add some much needed character to my office area. Ricoh GRDiv, ISO400, f/1.9, 1/18s. I have changed my colour profile and bit depth but it's not looking like when I saved it down as jpeg. I'll have to find out what's going on. Friday, 21 March 2014. Against the wind and a dull sky. The 24-70mm I used he...
