A thousand words

This blog is about exploring ways to capture simple moments of deep spiritual and physical reality in literary form. I move around the globe and see searing pain alongside bright and precious nuggets of beauty. My days are spent trying to make a difference through projects and goals and indicators, but the rest of the time there's a good chance I'm writing in an attempt to capture the heart of the people I meet.

I started writing out a list of the things for which Im grateful, and found myself lingering on Grace. Grace is something I want to ponder more and more. I am continuously at the receiving end of it. I may be or feel unlovable. But I experience grace over and over and over. Grace feels a little like a pity party - what we extend to people we cant love but who we know could use some loving - but I am grateful for grace nonetheless. I bask in it. Links to this post. Monday, December 19, 2011. Anyway, b.
