Well its nearly a month since I came up for the marathon 3 week trip and I have done very little walking since then and I can feel my hill fitness draining away. The snow had certainly fell on the tops and I had come prepared with some new slip on spikes and plenty of warm kit should I need it. Having moved now from Keswick for my final week down to Ambleside I was back to walking on my own today as my mates have gone back home now. Been looking forward to this route for a while and the plan was Cold Pike and Crinkle Crags from Wrynose Pass but in the end I ended up tagging Bowfell onto it as well as I was going pretty strong. A good route but very challenging on the navigation.

This is a long one taking in Blea Rigg, Sergeant Man, High Raise, and back via Tarn Crag. Another cold but beautiful day in fact been here over 2 weeks and have not been rained of once!
