Monday, October 8, 2007. Caddo Lake trip on 11/3/2007. Our Caddo Lake trip has been set on Saturday, 11/3. Since this is a long drive (3 and a half hours, about 200 miles), we suggest staying overnight and coming back on Sunday, 11/4. By doing so, we can take evening sunset pictures as well as morning sun raising scenes. We may launch our boats in Uncertain, at the west bank of the lake. Saturday, June 17, 2006. Caddo Lake State Park. We're definitely going to go back. If you've never been here, you must go soon. It's really an unforgettable experience. Take the canoe trail, but be sure to turn left when you see the "return to state park" sign (our mistake). Also make time to fish a little (my husband had great luck).
