Strewth's Training Blog: February Fun
http://baussmann2.blogspot.com/2015/02/february-fun_25.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Considerable time has passed and a lot of kilometres have been run since I last posted at the start of February! Ewen was the official photographer and he did a great job! Name for the spring on Hirta, Childa in Scotland). Sunday was the Vets Handicap but as I was on roster I only ran a short 6km run with Ewen before the event so as not to miss out entirely and to keep my legs moving. Pity it was so short lived. This is my easy week in theory and today's run was only 13km...

Strewth's Training Blog: May 2013
http://baussmann2.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Loot from the barrel draw plus medal and lucky run number. With Margaret just before the start. Photo by Ewen. It was so cold early in the morning of the Canberra Running Club's Half Marathon on Sunday. In fact it was minus 4 degrees when I was eating breakfast and wondering how many layers to wear! I selected a singlet and shorts with a long sleeved top and gloves to be removed at the 4km mark. How lucky am I! Distance: 21.1km (plus 1km warm up). Average pace per km: 5:56. I had s...

Strewth's Training Blog: June 2013
http://baussmann2.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 14, 2013. On Thursday all sportsgrounds were closed due to the recent steady rain. I worked until 2pm when I met Ewen for a coffee catch up before driving home to take Teddy out with me for my run. I was lucky in my timing as we avoided the rain. It was a good run and we both enjoyed it. Tomorrow the plan is to run a longer run incorporating the Parkrun. Fingers crossed the weather isn't too unkind. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Teddy ready for his run. I made it to Speedygeese at Dickson Oval by ...

My journey through middle life running along with life itself! Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Yes I am alive! I have not read anyone's posts for two weeks but do endevor to remedy that by the weeks end. Inquiring minds want to know what is going on in blog land and how the donkey miles, piggy trails or rabbits speeding along are doing. Transitions seem to occur and I have missed reading her great posts also. Enjoy the day all and I will read and get caught up on the blogs shortly. Sunday, September 10, 2006.

My Running Journey
http://klafor.blogspot.com/2008/06/coach-is-killing-me.html
My journey through middle life running along with life itself! Thursday, June 05, 2008. Coach is killing me. Last night she had me do the dreaded doctervals. Doctervals are 8 x 200 with the goal to go all out but consistent pace. I need them in order to achieve my goal of a sub 5:15 mile this august. Splits were 34, 35,37, 36,35, 38, 38, 38. Not the fastest I have done but did manage to get sick after lap 6 and lap 8. At least I know I did it right then. Enjoy the day everyone. Posted by Kurt @ 7:11 PM.

After having two good races in past weekends, I was all geared up and excited for the 10K today. Enjoy the day everyone, I am having 2 beers and 1 chocolate bananna cheesecake tonight! Posted by Kurt @ 5:27 PM 6 comments. Friday, May 26, 2006. I have 3 days off a...

My journey through middle life running along with life itself! Monday, June 16, 2008. Yesterday I had a fun filled day with my youngest daughter Maddie and Marsha for fathers day. The day started off with my favorite race on Long Island, the Deputy Chief Ray Downey 5K who died in 9/11. This is. A big event with lots of things going on. This year was no different with over 1600 for the 5K and another 500 in the family fun runs. The only downer it was warm (84) and very humid (storms last night). It is bot...
