Materials for Fusion and Fission Power. Much of the programme's "themed" research is being performed by postgraduate research students, studying for a doctoral degree (D.Phil). These normally run for 3.5 years; however, we have some studentships as part of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Fusion. Which run for 4 years (the first six months being background training in fusion topics). We are now recruiting for students to start October 2015. More details are here.
