Buying an Ant: No me niegues mi champurrado, amor
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2013/03/no-me-niegues-mi-champurrado-amor.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Sunday, March 03, 2013. No me niegues mi champurrado, amor. I watched a video recipe and enjoyed the song even more than the pictures. I looked around and the song isn't well-known and nobody had ever written the lyrics anywhere, so here they are in case anyone wants them. And looks for them. And finds them. The video here is the video recipe, but the entire song is on YouTube if you search for it by name. No me niegues amor". By Balde González y su Orquesta.

Buying an Ant: September 2012
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. My previous smugness has morphed into boredom. Not with my life (average) but with the Internet. Don't you ever get bored? It seems I always end up in an Internet rut, finding myself time and time again on the same time of websites. Do you see how much wasted time that is? I borrowed a cost-benefit curve from here. This post started out making sense to me, but it's degenerated into a messy unloading of the brain. Also, I've...

Buying an Ant: April 2013
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Sunday, April 07, 2013. The power went out a few hours ago, just as I was about to click "print" on my genetics article. Oh, well. I hate genetics, anyway. I got sidetracked, sorry. Back to the power outage. So I sat down on the couch with a book. The Gift of Fear. So after I left that book and ate three rice crackers with hummus, I sat down again to read Julie and Julia. On a bus ride, but I couldn't stand this Julie character. SHE WAS SO DAMN WHINY. Run, a...

Buying an Ant: Birds
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2013/03/birds.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Sunday, March 17, 2013. Only one nest has had eggs in it so far, but it was thrilling to find them. We have a mirror attached to an extendible aluminum stick, which we put above a nest to see if it's empty or not. Seeing those two tiny, white eggs was rewarding and kind of an "Oh! Moment, if you see what I mean. Cute I mean, it was a baby! Yours truly, Andrea. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blog Archive (watch me become bitter and old! Another bento dou...

Buying an Ant: July 2012
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Thursday, July 12, 2012. Yesterday a bird fell out of a tree in the backyard while I was whittling a penguin out of wood* . I only figured it out when the Small Dog, who is a cocker spaniel and therefore is engineered to fetch birds, risked life and limb fighting the bamboo thicket and later a thorn bush while trying to get at it. I do not mention this to show of my whittling skills, but because "whittling" is a funny word. Like "soup". Yours truly, Andrea.

Buying an Ant: August 2012
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Be it by nature or nurture, I have a tendency to obtain and accumulate things (Star Wars toys, amusing pillows and odd bits of nature extracted from their homes during field trips* all come to mind) and am averse to throwing them away. Luckily for me, I seem to be less averse than my parents, who once yelled at me for not eating the corners of a slice of cake. Still, I've been bitten by the decluttering bug. Today I attacked some...

Buying an Ant: July 2013
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Wednesday, July 24, 2013. I made it about twenty meters before vomiting (pink at first, because of the Pepto-Bismol) through my nose (that burns as badly as it is disgusting). I went back to our tent. I'm not sure what happened there except that I lay there feeling horrible and then got up to puke some more. I must have eaten something off, because after that I was fine. HOORAY! There's four birds here! They're all stressed, poor things." But the teacher...

Buying an Ant: Off hiatus
http://antshopping.blogspot.com/2013/03/off-hiatus.html
A blog that doesn't actually sell or buy ants. Sunday, March 03, 2013. There I rested my fingers for a few months and I think I'm done now. I mean, it bugs me that everything that happened and that I didn't write about, I will forget. In fact, I've forgotten most of it already! Have a faint, fingernail-shaped scar on one of my eyebrows but it's barely visible and my parents and I are clueless as to its origin. So what's the point of even having it! I can do something useful with zero effort. So on Wednes...
