Thursday, December 29, 2011. How To Root Stuff Every Time. I suspect every gardener has their thing. something that seems to come easier than to most people. Just like real life, I guess. You can't be good at everything, but every so often you realize that you indeed do know how to do some stuff. What you will need:. Small clear plastic container. Final step: Place the entire thing in a gallon zip lock baggie, and leaving as much airspace as possible, zip it up. Thats it. You will not unzip it un...I hop...

Charleston Daily Photo: Looks like they recycle
http://charlestondailyphoto.blogspot.com/2015/05/looks-like-they-recycle.html
8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Looks like they recycle. I liked the contrast of the blue recycling bins in front of the door. The building is behind Memminger School on Beaufain St. so I imagine the bins are from the school since it doesn't look like anyone lives in this building. I'd love to see it fixed up but it has been abandoned as long as I can remember. It's been a full day. What a fabulous building to renovate! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Colonial Lake renovations, Rutledge Ave., Charleston, SC. Colonial Lake renovations, Charleston, SC. I am sure it will be beautiful but I am missing the lake (and my secret parking spots) during the renovation period. It will be nice to have it back new and improved. The excited buzz in South Carolina today is about Volvo's announcement. That we have been selected for their first US factory. Woohoo! Am I a complete wimp?

Charleston Daily Photo: Teeny, tiny houses of the lowcountry

8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Teeny, tiny houses of the lowcountry. Tiny cottage, Bluffton, SC. This one is a cutie to add to our collection of teeny, tiny houses. I spotted it behind an impressive mansion in Bluffton. I spotted a steam of maids going in to clean the main house but it wouldn't take much to keep this little sweetie in order. I am fat and full after a giant Fish Pie at Madra Rua. And I have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. Joan's Lowcount...

Charleston Daily Photo: Thursday Night
http://charlestondailyphoto.blogspot.com/2015/05/thursday-night.html
8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. George St., Charleston, SC. The College of Charleston has such a pretty campus. On Mother's Day this is where graduation is held with the gentlemen wearing white suits and the ladies wearing white dresses and carrying red roses. Tradition. I am loving the late light. I worked late this evening and still had time to march around the neighborhood before dark. I've been watching Grace and Frankie. I am late to the game! I notic...

Give to Caesar What Is His! Back in February I did a piece on my “square foot garden” project click here. It’s not too late, and you can do it, trust me. Hopefully soon there will be other fresh ingredients being hauled into our kitchen from the back yard, and you can bet that I will keep you posted. Links to this post. Potential an...

Just A Couple Lowcountry Classics. Summer evenings in the Lowcountry are perfect for a cold glass of lemonade and some relaxation on the front porch. From The Land of Palm Trees. If you haven't the strength to impose your own terms upon life, you must accept the terms it offers you." T.S. Elliot. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Not Your Grandma's Cupcakes. I promised that I would be spending some time this week featuring some of our favorite vendors from the Summerville Farmer's Market. Today's vendor is actually one of my wife's favorites, Bubbies Bakery. And many weeks she offers a special benefit to her Facebook fans. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. In all fairnes...
