The building pictured actually was a tavern in Chichester. It originated as a one-room barber shop, became an ice cream parlor, had a run as a restauraunt, and then as a tavern. It last operated as such in 1968. It is now an artist's studio. Dan Nobel (a retired NYC Policeman) who ran bar for Elizabeth Law. Source: Marie Lane Rogers. Circa 1920's or 1930's?
