The Freeman Adventures: May 2008
http://thefreemanadventures.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Onward to the Windy City! Sunday, May 25, 2008. I thought you'd all like to know that the game finally ended! Adrian Gonzalez hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the 18th inning to win it 12-9 for the Padres. Thank goodness, because they needed it. And, I got my sushi. This is the game that never ends. Thankfully, we are not at the game itself. Yes, that does say top of the 17th inning. Padres vs. Reds. This is Andy and Katie watching the game. Don't they look so enthralled? Monday, May 19, 2008.

The Freeman Adventures: November 2008
http://thefreemanadventures.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Onward to the Windy City! Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Hey, if it's comfortable, who am I to pass judgement? Sunday, November 16, 2008. Does anyone remember that song from the 90's by Alanis. 160;I am not sure the things she sings about entirely qualify as ironic, but more or less. 160;unfortunate coincidences, or a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Anyway, to my point. Today I ordered our Christmas cards from my favorite warehouse store. I hesitated. Saturday, November 15, 2008.

The Freeman Adventures: March 2009
http://thefreemanadventures.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Onward to the Windy City! Monday, March 16, 2009. So much to look forward to. Most of my loyal readers are aware I will be turning the big 2-7 this Wednesday. While I realize it is closer to 30 than 20, most would agree 27 is still relatively young. So you can imagine my surprise when I found out that 27 is on the brink of old age! Can you believe it? Onward to the Windy City! Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Ice Cream Supper kind of Day. Today, I had the kind of day at work that requires eating ice cream for supper. So, I am indulging in the best bowl of Schwan's Chocolate Double Fudge Brownie ice cream that I have ever had. Maybe I will have a bowl for dessert too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Freeman Adventures: February 2009
http://thefreemanadventures.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Onward to the Windy City! Friday, February 27, 2009. Monday, February 23, 2009. In Memory of Rufus. I just found out our good friends, the Hoffs, had to part with one of their great companions today. Rufus was a such a good boy, and Lucy's first canine boyfriend. Any pet owner that has had to make such a decision knows how difficult it is. I know he will really be missed, but I also know he is now at rest. . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Books I've Read- and recommend!

The Freeman Adventures: August 2009
http://thefreemanadventures.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Onward to the Windy City! Saturday, August 29, 2009. Could we have picked a better week to pack? I mean, why WOULDN'T we pick the hottest week of the summer to move? Doesn't it always end up that way? I think most days this week it hit close to 100 degrees with no breeze. For example, today, after I hauled three huge, heavy, BLACK garbage bags down the stairs and around the corner to our garage, I got in my car to find the temp in the sun was 107 degrees. Feelin' hot, hot, hot! The most comfortable thing...

Onward to the Windy City! Friday, September 19, 2008. Fun with Yearbook Yourself. So I had a bit of fun with YearbookYourself.com tonight. The program allows you to upload a picture of yourself and places it in hair and wardrobe templates. The templates are from the past 60 years of yearbook photos. The results are pretty interesting. 1968-I look like my mother! I don't look so bad with long hair! Skipping the 80's.too painful even to re-enact. 1990-Lee Press On bangs. Hope you had as much fun as I did!

The Freeman Adventures: June 2010
http://thefreemanadventures.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Onward to the Windy City! Tuesday, June 22, 2010. This past weekend, we wrapped up our Master Bedroom Makeover, and I have to say, if I could do this for a living, I would. I love planning the approach, piecing together the materials, and executing the project. While I was worn out by the time we were done, I loved stepping back and admiring my handiwork. So, without further ado, here is the great reveal. As in before we bought the house). So on to Menard's, where I should have gone in the first place, o...
