Moulin de Laval lies in its own valley besides a fast flowing brook. Moulin de Laval as seen from the east. Just paradise', as one of our guests said. Very true. But unfortunately, we can't go there ourselves every week. So you also get a chance to enjoy the quietness, the authentic house aged 200 years (or so) and the mill wheels that are still present. Expect a warm welcome. Charolais cows in the pastures near the mill. You have to put in a lot of effort if you want to meet other tourists. There are some, but hidden. They hide on a small campground or in other holiday homes. They never leave the property. So do you. No need to. Ze zijn er wel, maar verstoppen zich op de enkele camping of in een ander vakantiehuisje. Ze komen nauwelijks van hun terrein af. U ook niet. Niet nodig. Moulin de Laval ligt in een eigen vallei naast een snelstromende beek. Een paradijsje', zei een van onze vrienden. Zo is het. Maar we kunnen helaas niet elke week naar het paradijs toe. Daarom krijgt u ook een kans om te genieten van de rust, van het authentieke huis van 200 jaar oud, van de molenraderen die er nog in zitten. Bekijk de molen en omgeving van bovenaf, gefilmd met een drone door een van de gasten. In de zomer kunt u vanaf 9 uur in de zonnige tuin ontbijten (vers brood op 2 minuten rijden) en.

Herzlich willkommen in unserer Mühle! Charolais-Rinder auf der Weide oberhalb der Mühle. Das Viadukt des Fades ist 8 Minuten von der Mühle entfernt. War lange Zeit die höchste Eisenbahnbrücke Europas. Jetzt ist sie nicht mehr in Gebrauch, außer durch Drachenflieger. Die Auvergne ist die Region der Vulkane. Eine Autostunde von der Mühle entfernt können Sie bereits den Puy de Dôme besteigen: zu Fuß, mit Fahrrad oder Auto. Es gibt auch den Vulkanpark. Und Kinder werden an einem Besuch im Themenpark Vulcania.

Friday, 22 November 2013. My First Felted Jacket! I have just completed a couple of workshops where I learnt to make a felted jacket all in one piece around a resist. Just wanted to share the results with you! I even made some felted Toggles to use as buttons! It is a bit dull here today so the colours are not as rich in the pictures as they are in real life!
