Don't call me becky. Modern Cross Stitch Pattern Round Up. Friday, May 9, 2014. Over the past year, glimpses of cute cross stitch designs on Instagram have slowly been luring me into trying a new hobby. For some reason, cross stitch never really appealed to me. I think I was intimidated by the tiny grids and exact patterns, not to mention the thought of starting another craft stash. Now that adorable designs are more plentiful, it was harder and harder for me to resist. Is calling my name. Cute character...

With work, a bit stressful too with trying to finish a report. As a result, little has been. Done other than me sitting at this desk in the corner, surrounded by papers, two computer. One of the b...

Wednesday, December 10, 2014. For the teachers on your list. I have the perfect solution. Have more than one teacher on that list? This craft takes barely more than an hour, so multiples are a cinch. So, without any further ado, I present to you. 1) 12" Wreath Form (I used a chipboard on from The Paper Studio available at Hobby Lobby). Acrylic Paint (I used red. might go for a lighter color, like yellow, next time). 2) Boxes of 48 Count Crayons. 1) Mini Chalkboard (purchased these from Amazon. Start glui...

Tales of the March Hare: November 2014

Saturday, 29 November 2014. East Coast Diner, Red Lion Yard Colchester. Well I must say it was a most pleasant day in Colchester today. Not only was the sun shining but I had a delicious breakfast at the towns newest eatery then trotted across the street and had a sniff around a Vintage Fair. Very pleasant. First of all, and I was very happy about this particularly after a heavy night out in Southwark, the East Coast Diner opened for business in Red Lion Yard. Bravo ECD. You beat me fair and square.
