Current: Cedar Hill Studio, Waynesville, NC. I look for light, shadows, form and textures from both nature and the world we create. I enjoy the contrasts of place - mist rising like steam along a mountain range, finding on a seashore white dunes like freshly driven snow or boulders of coquina sculpted into fantastic shapes by water and wind. I shoot primarily in medium format black and white film. I develop by hand and create archival giclee prints using pigmented inks.
