Documenting Britain - James W. Norton

http://www.documentingbritain.com/jamesnorton

James W. Norton. Visual artist, Cambridge, England. Between city and countryside is a Non Place. A space where multi-layered traces of meaning can exist at anyone time. This topographical terrain engenders new navigational techniques to explore and record it. Landscape plays a pivotal role in my artwork. I am drawn to the spaces in-between spaces, liminality, the periphery, the edge and what lies unseen outside the edge, this Non Place.

Documenting Britain - Agatha Albert

http://www.documentingbritain.com/agathaalbert

Photographer and curator, Edinburgh, Scotland. Actively interested not only in practice but also in theory of contemporary photography, Agatha does not limit herself to one particular genre, although uses mostly analogue equipment and materials. Her latest works explore the idea of constructing a narrative by combining and searching for particular images and also research and re-imagine the past to better understand the present. But there are no tribes beyond us, nothing indeed but waves and rocks.

Project Life Weeks 13-15. Asymp; Leave a comment. Yet again time has totally got away from me and I am so behind with blogging! Still just about managing to keep up with Project Life though despite some big things coming up in our life soon. Week 13 saw me in Brisbane for the Australian Dental Association Congress. Lots of learning but also lots of good food – a standout was a trip to Jamie’s Italian – just amazing! I am planning to go back and blog the weeks I’ve missed – stay posted :). Asymp; 1 Comment.
