We took J.T. with us and had a wonderful time! JT in his new Easter suit. :). We gave J.T. a Bible for Easter. The church we attended had an Easter Egg Hunt after church. Back at the house for dyeing Easter eggs. And swimming in the pool. Monday we drove to Cocoa Beach. J.T. thought the ocean was great!

David and I had a wonderful picnic at the Coon Rapids Dam today. We started out on the Hennepin County side (the FREE side), then walked across the dam. Then we walked to the picnic grounds on the Anoka County side, where we ate our lunch. David was bound and determined to find the playground, so we kept walking. Posted by Lisa Anderson.

Being potty trained by taking him to the MOA! David's first ride on the Pepsi Ripsaw! David's big incentive - we told him these bumper cars were only for kids who were potty trained. After a couple days at the grandparents', we took off for Beaver Creek State Park for two nights. We had a good time roasting mashmallows, hiking the bluffs, chasing bugs, playing in the water, etc. David found a shiny beetle which he carried around for a while, shaking the bug box until I finally took it away. We had another fun trip to Rushford over the weekend. On Saturday we took a drive down to Lanesboro for the Farmers Market and some wine tasting. Who cares about shopping when there's a playground nearby? We also took a fun little ride on the old Model B Ford. David loved that he didn't have to sit in a car seat . or wear a seatbelt.
