Christmas Menu at The Elphinstone Hotel, Biggar
Served with granary bread. Homemade Chicken Liver, Pork and Brandy Pate. With red onion marmalade. Traditional Roast Turkey or Vegetarian Option. Key lime juice, citrusy yuzu juice, lime zest and grapefruit juice combined to make a curd which is mellowed with a smooth and tangy cream cheese. Medley of Ice Cream and Sorbet. On a bed of Drambuie scented fruit. The Hotel will be open on Christmas Day for sittings at 2.30 and 3.00pm. A deposit of 20 per person is required to secure your booking.
About the Sikorsky Plaque in Biggar | The Elphinstone Hotel
To commemorate that historic event, a plaque with an engraving of Polish wartime leader General Wladyslaw Sikorski was unveiled in the Elphinstone Hotel. The Polish media were present at the ceremony, and it is anticipated that a television programme on the day's events will soon be screened in Poland.
