An informational website dedicated to the zen of gardening. Sunday, February 27, 2005. A fellow Florida blogger. Brian dropped me a note asking if I would link to his site. I'm so glad he did. Not only does he have a fantastic site, he's a fellow Floridian. How cool is that! Brian and his family live in Collier County (southwest Florida) on a "band-aid" lot. What's that you say? Sunday, February 20, 2005. Tropical Plants Online does it again. Wednesday, February 16, 2005. I found a site, Emily Compost.

I looked again for the small print but there was none. Sure enough, they were labeling this pine as a pinus pine. Tuesday, December 14, 2004. Holy guacamole or is that a palm tree? Anyway, we ...

An informational website dedicated to the zen of gardening. Grasses are a gardener's best friend. Have an area in your garden that needs some sprucing up but doesn't get much moisture or gets way too much sun? Try ornamental grasses. Many grasses are ideally suited to dry gardens and produce fan-like plumes that add color and grace to the planting bed. I particularly like varieties of. But there are many many more available to beautify your yard. Thanks to Andrew Stenning.

An informational website dedicated to the zen of gardening. Plants should be placed in the garden in odd numbers of 3, 5 or 7. If flowers are planted in an even number, the eye has a tendency to split the group in half. Using odd numbers will create a pleasing and filling palate for the eye. Are some of your plants at the end of their season and it's too hot to clean out the gardens? And of all things, there's a big garden party planned at your house?
