The rest of our time in Beijing has been spent site-seeing and shopping. We cant believe how cheap, but yet good quality the fake products are here. I thought Bangkok in Thailand was going to be the best place in the world for tourist shopping - I was very wrong, Beijing is much better by a long way! A small unspoilt seaside town roughly 6 hours from Sydney. Unfortunatley due to the continuing rain we couldn't really make the most of it, although we did manage to visit the local Koala Hospital where we saw recovering Koalas! We were lucky to have nice accommodation and spent the rest of the day chilling out, followed by some very tasty fish and chips in the evening! On Monday we headed up the coast for another 5 hours and reached Byron Bay ( Map Here. It wasn't very big but very pleasant all the same!
