For most of my working life I have been a computer programmer, starting my career in the days when a computer filled an entire room and had to be controlled by feeding it punched cards and paper tape. I have programmed in most computer languages and have worked on applications as mundane as payroll and invoicing and as exotic as computer-controlled warehousing and international bond trading. Nowadays I’m still a geek but I design websites and blogs. It sure beats working for a living. Some Of My Work.

How You Can Help. Posts in the Past. When we first looked at the viability of this project. It soon became apparent that we couldn’t do it without access to some money. It wouldn’t need to cost a fortune but, realistically, it couldn’t be done for free. We are grateful to have received a small grant from the Simon Digby Memorial Trust which has enabled us to clear the land and prepare it for planting. We are also grateful to Clive Farrell for donating the seeds which will get the garden started.
