From there you take a mini bus or taxi to Puerto Juarez. The minibus to Puerto Juarez costs about US$9.50 pe passenger. A taxi costs about US$40.00. It's about a 20-40 minute ride depending on how heavy the traffic is in Cancun. Once you get to the ferry port, you take the ferry. To Isla Mujeres. That takes about 15 minutes.

What to expect before, during and after arrival. Reclaim your luggage and go through Customs where you will offer your declaration form and push the button and get a red or green light. Green means go. A red light means they'll search your luggage (usually quite casually unless you look suspicious).
