http://hannah-hondurashappenings.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Six months in Western Honduras volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Saturday, February 14, 2009. Back in the States. Those of you that are here at home in NC I am so excited to reconnect with you and share more in person. I feel like the memories and learning will continue to pour out slowly. And, on a cheesy note, I hope that this Valentine's Day is filled with love for all of you reading and that love continues to be a part of your lives the whole year through. Jj's driving. scary and thrilling.

Honduras Happenings: January 2009
http://hannah-hondurashappenings.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Six months in Western Honduras volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Sunday, January 25, 2009. Wow It definitely does feel good to feel useful though, my last couple of weeks with the affiliate. Unfortunately, yesterday found me in one of my most embarassing posts yet in Honduras - throwing up on the side of the street presumably from some type of food poisoning. I had not felt good all morning but did not know it was all going to lead to that! Today's schedule includes a visit to Dona Carmen's this af...

Honduras Happenings: September 2008
http://hannah-hondurashappenings.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Six months in Western Honduras volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Another weekend in Santa Rosa. the close of one week and preparations for the start of another. Truthfully, it was hard getting back into the swing of being in the office this week - sorting out the work plan (or lack thereof). Where else does that happen? So, I get home with my beautiful plate and bowl and sit at the table, welcomed by stares from the family kids. What is THAT? For the presentation I had t...

Honduras Happenings: November 2008
http://hannah-hondurashappenings.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Six months in Western Honduras volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Thursday, November 20, 2008. In about twenty minutes I´ll be taking a bus to the airport to pick up my parents! I am so excited to share a place that I have loved so much with them. We will be in Honduras exploring a bit for four days and then it´s off to Chile. Laying the first cement block on the house with Chilano. Watching Katy flirt with the young Canadians, unabashedly. Continually proving that women can do hard labor too. And s...

Honduras Happenings: December 2008
http://hannah-hondurashappenings.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Six months in Western Honduras volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Tuesday, December 16, 2008. And another week has gone by. Last week found me splitting my time pretty evenly between La Taza-making coffee and Habitat-filling out governmental forms. I also have gotten some good cooking in lately, highlights being lentils, berry cobbler, and tomato soup from scratch, all very non-Honduran, I know. Are you sure you live in the states? When you go back do you get to go on an airplane? A Week in Review.

Honduras Happenings: August 2008
http://hannah-hondurashappenings.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Six months in Western Honduras volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Currently enjoying a relaxing yet full weekend after a different type of work week. And, when the meetings went so long without any real guidance on moving toward the goal from Julio, I had to check myself and my cultural sensitivity first. But, after checking with my host family, they also agreed that a five hour meeting was slightly absurd! Going to help Elizabeth with some cooking now. learning how to m...
