The cost of supporting a young person through higher education can be considerable. These fees are beyond the means of most individual sponsors so we have helped students complete their education and start businesses. One of the most important sources of funding for the trust is people who give regular donations each month. Amounts vary from 5 to 25 per month. We can usually claim tax relief and it is this money that sees our students through college. Please Contact Us. We collect the following throughout the year and take them to Lalibela on the next monitoring visit:. Laptops and mobile phones and chargers (working condition only please). Students who leave after Grade 10 usually attend college to obtain diplomas in a variety of subjects to prepare for entering the job market. There are many business opportunities for tourism, hotel and related services in Lalibela so this is a good foundation leading to self-sufficiency and a satisfying career. We are very proud of the graduates who have completed their education through LET sponsorship. They include 3 nurses, a teacher, and a tour guide running his own business.
