Painting in Eastport Maine. Wednesday, 30 September 2009. I went out to Quoddy Village today with Marty and we painted this truck. It has such a nice color and shape to it. I found the shadow on the side to be a challenge, but am happy with it. 16x20 oil on canvas. Monday, 28 September 2009. Shipwrecked at Deep Cove. This boat has been washed up on the beach at Deep Cove for years. It's like an old skeleton. This was a fun day painting with a couple of friends, and i am happy with it. 9x7 oil on canvas.

Painting in Eastport Maine. Sunday, 25 October 2009. I painted this from a photo I took of the clean and empty Water Sreet the day after the fourth of July. The contrast between the two days is quite remarkable. The street is a zoo on the 4th. All of the colors were soft and pastel looking. The buildings and windows reduced to small strokes and blocks of color, when looked at from this angle. 8x10 oil on canvas. 26 October 2009 at 08:44.
