All You Really Need: November 2010
http://therealnecessities.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 14, 2010. I've been meaning to get a reloading post up for almost a year now. I just happened to be working up some .223 loads for the AR, so now seemed as good a time as any. My reloading journey started 11 months ago, when I was given a Lee 50th Anniversary reloading kit by my mother-in-law as a Christmas Gift. I'd been working towards getting into reloading for some time, but had never got around to getting outfitted yet. Monday, November 1, 2010. AR Build - Range Report. Finally, spa...

All You Really Need: March 2011
http://therealnecessities.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 6, 2011. 223 Handloads (Parts 2 and 3). I've come along in my development efforts, and have had a couple of workup cycles and subsequent range trips. I picked up some of the new IMR 8208 XBR powder a few weeks ago, and put together a set of loads using both the Winchester 55gr FMJ-BT bullets I've been working with, as well as Sierra 69gr HPBT Matchkings. I'd run out of Speer 70gr Semi-Spitzer bullets for my hunting load, and apparently no one in town carries them. I did another workup using...

A Bullet-shaped hole where the answers should be: August 2009
http://bunnyman-trifecta.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 28, 2009. California gunnies, this is a big one. The Senate themselves noted that a 10% hit to ammunition sales would result in a million dollar loss in sales tax revenue. Assuming the damage is that low, and not including Use Tax from internet/mail order sales. (Does anyone actually order by mail anymore? I assume they're also the ones that pay with checks at the supermarket.). And it just left the Senate suspense file. Shit. If you live in the Golden State, please take a moment to write ...

Sunday, October 2, 2011. There's nothing like manhandling 18 tons and 500 horsepower of Wisconsin muscle over terrain that looks like a scale model of the Norwegian fjords. Bonus points for reaching a significant percentage of the 30% side slope limit. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). On Sharp Knives, Redux. View my complete profile. Boobs, Injuries, and Dr. Pepper. All You Really Need: April 2013
http://therealnecessities.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Whatever network news program is on right now is running a special on the recent shootout between the Boston Marathon bombers and police in Watertown, MA. The firefight resulted in the death of one of the brothers, and the escape and an extended manhunt for the other. Imagine if you will, had that citizen's smart phone been replaced with an AR-15, how those events might have ended a bit differently. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Austin, Texas, United States. A Bullet-shaped hole where the answers should be: On Soju.
http://bunnyman-trifecta.blogspot.com/2011/10/on-soju.html
Sunday, October 2, 2011. There are a cornucopia of reasons to partake of alcoholic beverages. They can loosely be broken into two categories: drinking them because of their qualities as a beverage, and drinking them as an aid to intoxication. Soju utterly fails to satisfy the first category, barely suggesting the presence of alcohol. Much less character. It must, by default, exist purely as an inebriant par excellence. In short, I don't get it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). On Sharp Knives, Redux.

A Bullet-shaped hole where the answers should be: On Remakes.
http://bunnyman-trifecta.blogspot.com/2011/10/on-remakes.html
Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Some of us out there have fond memories of the original Syndicate. Arguably the grandaddy of the modern sandbox game (a whole city to wander around in, hijacking cars, shooting it out with the cops, and generally causing mayhem - does this sound familiar? Apparently, it's being remade as a first-person shooter. At this point, as long as the game is competently executed and has a persuadertron I'll be happy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://bunnyman-trifecta.blogspot.com/2011/10/on-cluster-earworms.html
Saturday, October 15, 2011. OK, this is a new one. I've certainly had my fair share of earworms, but rotating earworms for every day of the week? Listen to Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster" a few times, and you too can have a different. Yes, this constitutes an endorsement. Nothing makes PMCSing HEMTTs go by faster than humming "The Fame." No, sir. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). On Sharp Knives, Redux. View my complete profile. Boobs, Injuries, and Dr. Pepper. Captain of a Crew of One. Home on the Range.
