I mentioned before that I was quitting FFXI, and I did, in fact, quit in February, however it took me until now to actually get the final screenshots and stories up detailing my character's end. You can read about my last month in the game here. As well as see my final entry here. I really did enjoy this game for the last 6 years, and if FFXIV is half as much fun I see myself easily spending another 6 years in it :-).

Insert obligatory apology about lack of updates here. I have been rather busy, honestly. We have a patch done for Duologue that adds a saved game feature to it. This patch has been done for a couple of months now, but the XNA peer review process has issues. So, expect this patch soon-ish. You know, sometime in the next year or so depending on how many of these peer review cycles we need to go through :-). Instead, I'll just put some random ramblings about things that have been on my mind lately. Provided...

Wow information overload. Where do I begin? The 10-year life cycle PS3 has a calendar bug. A year or so ago, Sony claimed that the PS3 would have a "10-year life cycle". The idea somehow being that improvements to broadband in the western world would allow the much touted Cell processors to blossom into a global PS3 hive-mind-kind-of-thing and in a decade the PS3 would still be able to compete computationally with the other platforms available. That has kept me out of the game for a month has spurned me to make it official. Effective immediately, Clan of the Angry Monkey FFXI is closed. We've had a good run, operating since May 2004. And running several hundred events. We've been a part of everything from an in game wedding. Players to end-game and past many. Thousands of forum posts. Why are you ending ClanAM FFXI?
