Sad Plants | Manifest Joy Harvests
https://manifestjoyharvests.wordpress.com/2012/06/30/sad-plants
A journey in suburban vegetable gardening. They looked watered, they hadn’t dried up. They just looked sad. I’ve heard it before, many people have said at one point or another, my plant looks sad . Are we just anthropomorphizing? There are studies that show that plants have senses. Just last week there was an interview with Daniel Chamovitz, author of What a Plant Knows in Scientific American. See here. There is even an entry. In Wikipedia about Plant Perception, although under the paranormal wiki. None ...

A journey in suburban vegetable gardening. There’s nothing lazy about this Sunday in the garden, but it is a lazy Sunday for the blog. I’m in the process of staking my tomatoes, a post will be coming up about that this week. I’m taking an iced coffee break because it’s scorching hot right now. I’ve opted to just post some pictures:. Kate had her baby!!! | smallfarmlife
https://smallfarmlife.wordpress.com/2013/04/07/kate-had-her-baby
Kate had her baby! Our last doe, Princess Kate, had her baby. She was the smallest of the does, so I’m not that surprised that she was bred later than the other two. In fact, for next year, I’m going to plan to have kids around this time. The weather is a little warmer and there isn’t an icy wind cutting through the barn. I waited as long as I could stand, and then we went in and tied off the cord and checked the sex. And…. IT’S A GIRL! That’s what I had been hoping for. Yay! And tagged Baby animals.
Surprise!! | smallfarmlife
https://smallfarmlife.wordpress.com/2013/02/19/surprise-2
I had a little surprise last night when doing chores, well actually 2 little surprises. I was not expecting these little guys for another month. I was actually planning to write a post of the development of the udder before kidding. Well, as it turns out Camilla’s udder filled about a week before and Duchess’s filled a day before kidding. These little kids definitely proved my theory. We brought her inside the house and bottle fed her all night and today. She ate about 4 oz every 2-3 hours. It wa...It wa...
Goats’ 1st milking | smallfarmlife
https://smallfarmlife.wordpress.com/2013/03/04/goats-1st-milking
Goats’ 1st milking. We milked our little mommas last night for the first time. It went really well. You may remember. That we had to milk Duchess after her baby (I think we will call her Lilly) because she was a little freaked out about being a mother. We milked her first. She stood still and let me milk from both sides. She was fairly calm the whole time. She didn’t flinch or try to get away when I was pulling at her. I was very happy with her performance. I am very happy with my little milkers. We used...

Manifest Jesus | no longer I that live but Christ
Jesus living in us. Jesus is our Savior. October 28, 2016. Not by works of Righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of Regeneration and Renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. Titus 3:5,6. Jesus is our Savior. Regeneration stresses the inception of a New state of things in contrast with the old. As Paul said. “— Old things have passed away, behold all things have become New. Jesus is our Savior.
