Well, today is our first day of 'outreach.' We got up EARLY (3:00am) to catch a 6:00am flight to Nome. Our flight first took us to Kotzabue, a city just northeast of Nome inside the arctic circle! Somehow, you take 6 yards of beautiful fabric and wrap it around yourself. I don't know how they get it to stay on, but it sure is beautiful! Posted by Lindsay at 9:15 PM. During house visits in Gazipur, children will line up outside the windows just to get a peek at us. Sometimes families allow us to minister to all who are interested, and others try to keep others out.

Tuesday, February 12, 2008. A Weekend of Blessings! Matt went ice fishing this past Saturday. Johnson Lake provided Matt with his first rainbow trout! But I'm just as proud of his snot sickle as I am of his catch.). Matt also caught his limit of silver salmon on Sport Lake! Matt and I were blessed with a Honeymoon getaway this weekend. We stayed at a local Bed and Breakfast called the Homer Inn and Spa. This is the view outside our room! We woke up to low tide and THIS beautiful sunrise Saturday morning!

This is Clara, my adopted Yupik Grandma.(although no one compares to my real Grandma! I loved listening to Clara's stories. This is a picture of her at a young age, and the ring was the wedding band her husband made for her out of nickels. He went on to be with the Lord. Matt and I frequently went to a daily lunch served to the respected elders. This is Bernice! Back to main page.

This week we learned something so exciting from a geneology chapter. I don't know about you, but I have always skipped over these boring chapters, but did you realized that Genesis 5 fits in with the Bibles main theme (the main theme being to encourage man to have a relationship with God)?
