On this chilly morning, we all woke up at 4am to climb up to Poon Hill which would be the highest point we will reach on this trek. This is an obligatory photo of me in front the sign. It was a mere 400 meters from Ghorepani to Poon Hill, but it was the hardest 400 meters on a chilly, dark, morning hike. A view of the Dhaulagiri range. It's "next" to the Annapurna range.

Monday, December 31, 2012. As much fun as the monkeys were in Kathmandu, it's just about time to get moving on towards the mountains. But the first stop is Pokhara, which is the second largest city in Nepal. These are mountains roads right out of Kathmandu. The air and environment looks noticeably cleaner. Sunday, January 13, 2013. Kathmandu and Pokhara has been great up to this point and I've learned so much about the culture, people and way of life. But enough, already! Monday, July 20, 2009. Barnegat Light, NJ Part 2. This is looking up the stairs inside of the Barnegat Lighthouse. I liked how the stairs form a spiral pattern around the center pole. Friday, January 18, 2013. Now that I got the first day out of the way, I'm ready to conquer the world! This is our overnight accommodations. This guesthouse is actually a bit bigger.
