I've never minded winter, especially since moving South, but am tired of being cooped up. We have had a few days where we've been able to be outside all day, and what a difference that has made. For our anniversary in September, Jody booked us on a cruise for the Bahamas that we went on over the weekend. It was great to have some time to ourselves. We've been on a cruise before and I got seasick SO I was prepared with "the patch" to help with the motion sickness. We found out later it was so bad they cancelled the show that night because they were afraid of the dancer's safety.

Sunday, January 20, 2008. Winter arrived with a blast here in Roswell - temperature dropped and the snow came. It was really beautiful if you did not have to work or shop. I can only remember a handful of times here in Atlanta that we have actually had snow which stayed for more then a few hrs. This morning, it had not changed much but he told me it was not styled quite like he wanted it. So, we wet it and started over. I e-mailed with his teacher today and she said her son Jackson (a 5th grader) got the EXACT same 'do yesterday. How cool is that? She said there will probably be some mad mamas that are being asked to fix their kids hair like that.

The program involved two weeks of hour-a-day lessons. Friday was the final lesson. Good times. They were so much better than last year.
