For a few different / silly reasons, I slipped a little in one of my more important classes, Materials Engineering. I scored a 36 of 45 on my last lab report. A 74 of 100 on my last test, with the chance of a similarly bad grade on another test that hasn't been graded yet. Last weekend was a little crazy:. 15 miles of mountain biking in San Luis Obispo on Friday. 230 mile drive to the Bay Area. 5 mile run on the Point Richmond / El Cerrito shoreline. An afternoon at the Berkeley Botanical Gardens. 120 mile drive from the Bay Area to Thunderhill Raceway. An afternoon as lead announcer at the AFM races. A 90 mile drive back to Sacramento. 300 mile drive from Sacramento to San Luis Obispo. Quiz in my English Literature class. Some pics from the Berkeley Botanical Gardens:.

With a conscience full of guilt, I did my best to help by carrying her bike down several portions of the loose, rocky, 17 mile, 4000 foot descent. I thought the poor girl might be traumatized enough to sell her bike and never speak to me again - fortunately she decided to stick with it (and me) afterwards.
