Making a Felt Patch. Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Fifine is a 17" tall Moonchild doll. She is made with honey colored Swiss tricot and has white Tibetan Lambswool hair. Her grey eyes are mischievous and bright. She comes fully stocked with 17 diferent items of clothing. Fifine will be available for sale (auction style) in my Hyena Cart. Shop this coming Sunday. Making a Felt Patch. Sunday, April 8, 2007. Dying Wool Felt with Food Dye. There are many ways to dye felt and this is one of my favorites:. Fill a large pot 2/3 full with water and put on stove (on high). Add 1/2 cup white vinegar. Dissolve a small amount of Wilton icing tint paste. In a cup of hot water. Add dye to pot. Pre-wet felt in warm water and then add to the pot. Let felt simmer. The felt will absorb most of the dye. Remove from pot, rinse, and squeeze out excess water. Dry in the dryer. I find...

Moonchild Dolls: Mini Moon Sweater

Making a Felt Patch. Mini Moon Sweater for 11” Dolls. Using size 8 needles and light worsted weight yarn. Cast on 29 stitches. The first 4 rows will be knit in Garter Stitch. Place markers as such:. Row 5 start stockinette stitch beginning with the right side. Increase one stitch before and one stitch after each marker by knitting front and back of those stitches. Row 6 Knit first 3 stitches, purl till there are 3 stitches left and then knit the last 3 stitches. This pattern is for personal use only.
