As amid the hectic music and cocktail talk / She hears the caustic ticking of the clock. 8220;On Whom the Rain Comes Down”. I love the smell of the first rain. I’m crazy about it. Just the smell. I always hated it when it rained. When the first droplets reach the parched earth, the smell makes me heady. I find the sensation undecipherable, enigmatic unrequited romance (though the smell isn’t remotely like your average bitter almonds) diffused with painfully-sweet nostalgia. I really liked it the honesty.
